It is possible to rent a bicycle to explore Playa del Carmen. It is a great way to get around, get to know the place, going to the beach and interact with the locals.
To get to Playa del Carmen you can travel to Cancun by plane and then take one of the vans or buses. It takes 45 minutes to an hour to arrive.
Although the weather in Playa del Carmen is almost perfect throughout the year, in summer it is usually much warmer and it is high season. From June to November it also rains more frequently and in September and October there are more possibilities of storms and cyclones. From December to May it doesn’t rain and the weather is cooler.
